The Talk & Move resource pack contains a pack of A6 Talk & Move cards and 4 A4 themed scenes containing all 29 images from the Talk & Move programme. Developed by a Specialist Speech and Language Therapist and Preschool Yoga teacher this pack supports children's language and emotional regulation through movement

Research shows that categorising words into groups linked by meaning (semantic knowledge) supports children's language learning. When used in conjunction with the Talk & Move cards children's phonological awareness is also developed. Made from 'NeverTear' material the colourful A4 picture scenes are wipeable and divided into the following themes

Ideal for early years educators, this pack makes session planning quick and easy. They provide lots of opportunities for both adults and children to talk about what they can see in the pictures and generate language rich conversation. The picture scenes are designed be used alongside the pack of A6 cards.

The A6 pack contains 29 cards each with a different move and sound. On one side of the card is a colourful picture which provides a visual aid to support children’s learning. On the other side is a reminder for the adult of the move, sound, the syllables and rhyming words. The pack includes guidance on how to use the cards.
