Neurodiversity in the Early Years: Supporting Adults, Empowering Children
15 May 2026
The SEND Stage
This presentation explores how supporting neurodivergent practitioners transforms early years settings. Through lived autistic experience, I’ll share real challenges and practical strategies for adapting environments, practice, and mindsets. Delegates will learn how thriving staff directly impact children, showing them that neurodiversity is belonging, strength, and something to celebrate every day.
The main point will be that supporting and investing in neurodivergent practitioners will benefit children (especially our neurodivergent children).
