Catherine Lippe is a Registered Nutritionist (RNutr) specialising in early years nutrition. With over 18 years’ experience in the sector, she has worked across both the public and private sectors, including roles within the NHS, Public Health England and the Early Years Alliance. Catherine has supported hundreds of early years settings, helping them to improve food provision and create positive mealtime environments for young children.

In her current role as Head of Nutrition and Policy for Nursery Kitchen, Catherine ensures all dishes and menus are nutritionally balanced and exceed national guidance. She is passionate about shaping children’s food preferences and healthy eating habits from the very start and works closely with partners to embed a whole-setting approach to nutrition. Alongside this, Catherine is an advocate for raising standards in early years food provision nationally and contributes her expertise to policy discussions, research projects, and campaigns that aim to reduce health inequalities and improve outcomes for children.
