For over 15 years, I’ve dedicated my career to the Early Years sector, driven by one simple belief: every child deserves to feel safe, valued, and included. My journey hasn’t just been professional, it’s deeply personal. As a same-gender parent to a wonderful child who is deaf, autistic, and has additional learning needs, I know first-hand the challenges families can face when navigating education and care. This lived experience has given me not only empathy, but also a fierce determination to help create settings where all children and families are welcomed, understood, and celebrated.

Alongside my role as founder of Jay Sparkle Consultancy, I continue to serve as an educator, keeping me closely connected to the realities of Early Years practice. I hold a BA (Hons) in Early Years Education and a Level 7 in Strategic Leadership, and I am an experienced SENDCO. I’m also certified to deliver Safeguarding Training, equipping nurseries and schools with the knowledge and confidence to create safe and inclusive environments.

I founded Jay Sparkle Consultancy to share both my professional expertise and personal journey. Through training, workshops, and conferences, I support educators and parents to embrace inclusion, strengthen safeguarding, and celebrate all family structures, ensuring every child is given the chance to shine.
