Dr Mona Sakr is an Associate Professor of Early Childhood Education at Middlesex University. Her research focuses on early years policy, practice and leadership, with a particular focus on provision for 0-2 year olds. She leads the Nuffield funded research project 'Achieving high quality provision in the baby room of English nurseries', which you can follow at www.thebabyroom.blog. She also manages the professional learning platform www.babyrooms-inspiringleaders.co.uk, which supports baby room educators and leaders with baby-specific CPD.
