Yasmin Mukadam
Yasmin Mukadam is an author, teacher, further education lecturer, trainer and consultant in the field of early years. She works in early year’s education and health to deliver training and courses for children, families and early year’s educators. Yasmin is a yoga teacher for adults, teenagers and young children with a research background in mindfulness and wellbeing in early years care and education.
Yasmin has written a book, published by Routledge called, ‘Mindfulness in the Early Years’. She has also co-written a book, published by Jessical Kingsley called, ‘Supporting Toddlers’ Wellbeing in Early Years Settings’. She continues to write articles and promote the importance of mental health and wellbeing for children and staff in the early years. Publications that Yasmin writes for include Nursery World and Early Years Educator, covering topics such as neuroscience, emotional literacy, toddlers wellbeing, child development, mental health, yoga and mindfulness.
